Surface Renovation of a Kannustalo in Kirkkonummi

This project achieved a significant transformation with a relatively light renovation. Almost all wall surfaces were painted, while some of the original wallpapers were incorporated into the new interior. Replacing the parquet and painting the staircase helped unify the ground and upper floors. For the glass porch, we chose a playful patterned Moroccan tile — practical for everyday life as well, since it doesn’t show every grain of sand.

Built-in furniture was completely renewed in almost every room, including the kitchen. The wet-area tiling was largely left intact, but the bathroom wall tiles were covered with microcement for a fresh, modern finish.

New curtains, textiles, and a few new pieces of furniture were integrated with the clients’ existing favourites, resulting in a wonderfully harmonious and inviting home.
