Modern Country Home with a Lakeside View

The upper floor of this lakeside home on Lake Bodom, encompassing the open living, dining, and kitchen area, was redesigned in a modern-rustic style. The clients wanted a clean black-and-white kitchen, balanced with earthy tones and natural materials.

The floors feature wide, hand-carved solid wood planks, and the ceiling beams were painted black to enhance the atmospheric lighting. All furniture, lighting, and textiles were renewed, while linen curtains and colours that harmonize with the lake view complete the cohesive design. The result is a timeless and warm home, thoughtfully designed for ease of everyday living.
