French-Inspired Hillside Home

This four-level hillside house required an extensive renovation due to water damage caused by a false plinth. The clients had been planning the update for a long time, and with finalized plans in hand, the project was carried out with a comprehensive approach.

My design work covered space planning, materials and colour schemes, built-in and MEP furniture, lighting, textiles, and artwork placement. The walls on the hillside side were rebuilt before the interior surfaces were finished. A particularly striking detail is the custom-made staircase steps, railings, and oak moldings crafted by a carpenter, which complete the French-inspired elegant look. The result is a warm and timeless home, thoughtfully designed for both aesthetics and everyday practicality.
