Retro-Inspired Townhouse with Bold Colours
This small 1980s townhouse was fully updated, with the exception of the wet areas. The client wished for bold colours and retro-inspired furniture, but a tight budget guided the design toward solutions that made partial use of existing structures.
In the kitchen, new cabinet doors, countertops, and backsplash tiles were installed, and the spaces were opened up by removing partition walls. The living room interior was built around a striking orange sofa, while a feature wallpaper brings life to the large wall surfaces. In the bedroom, storage was simplified with a mirrored wardrobe, and the colour palette is echoed in the textiles. A herringbone-pattern vinyl plank floor completes the look and serves as a practical choice for a home with dogs.
