Complete Renovation of a 1950s Duplex Apartment

This two-level 1950s apartment was fully renovated as the owners returned to Finland from Brussels. The long-rented home received a comprehensive update, including wet areas, built-in furniture, and storage solutions, while the bedrooms were soundproofed with a lowered ceiling.

Additional storage was added through custom-built cabinetry, and mirrored doors were used to visually expand the space. The former garage was converted into a kitchen, dining, and utility area, where black solid wood doors add structure and elegance. Light trim, sand-toned tiles, and carefully designed wet areas complete a timeless and highly functional result.
